Jeremy Benkiewicz is a Co-Founder and Portfolio Manager in Saba’s New York office. He spent 11 years at Saba from its inception in 2009 through 2020 and rejoined the firm in 2026.
From 2020 to 2025, Mr. Benkiewicz was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Millennium, where he led a group of professionals specializing in capital structure arbitrage. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2009, he served as Co-Head of Saba Principal Strategies and as a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank. In that role, he managed a multi-billion-dollar investment portfolio across a broad range of asset classes and products, including credit, convertibles, equities, and equity derivatives.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Benkiewicz was a Vice President in the Equity Derivatives Principal Group at Société Générale in New York from 1998 to 2002, where he traded convertible securities. During this period, he focused on adapting the Merton model framework to debt and convertible trading.
Mr. Benkiewicz holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, France, which he obtained in 1998.
